Who are we?
Not a funeral home. Not a boutique. Not what you’ve seen before.
Ceremony for One is something entirely different.
A space for meaning after the moment of cremation.
We begin after cremation has taken place. Offering rituals, keepsakes, and personalized memorial experiences that meet grief where it actually lives: in homes, in hearts, and in small, sacred moments.
Born from the belief that even the quietest goodbyes deserve ceremony, Ceremony for One offers intentional support for those navigating loss in nontraditional ways.
This is for the person picking up ashes with no plan.
The one who didn’t want a formal service, but still wants to feel.
The family who wants to do something beautiful, even if it’s just the two of them.
The friend who wants to remember with intention, not obligation.
At Ceremony for One, you’ll find:
• Sliding scale memorial planning for intimate services held in homes, backyards, galleries, and gathering spaces
• Curated grief goods that help people carry loss in beautiful, meaningful ways
• Silence cards, journals, and ritual tools for solo and shared remembrance
• And soon, a space of our own—designed not like a funeral home, but like a home that welcomes grief in
“I created this space because I believe the way we say good-bye should reflect the lives we’ve lived.
Not the industry we have inherited.
So no, I’m not a licensed funeral home. Not yet.
But I am a licensed funeral director who’s choosing to reimagine the rules. And this is just the beginning.”
